As 2024 comes to an end, we recall the various initiatives and significant progress that have brought us closer to our goals. Together, we celebrated great achievements that reflect the commitment and collaborative work of our partners.
In 2024, we committed to innovation and the advancement of Additive Manufacturing:
- We presented several innovative solutions, including augmented reality software for process support and training, hybrid molds and tools, polymeric, metallic and ceramic products, materials for deposition and additive manufacturing of food, as well as small and large additive manufacturing equipment;
- We developed the innovative Mold 5G;
- We created a robust cybersecurity solution;
- We launched the first pilot course of the (future) INOV.AM Academy;
- We submitted 8 types of Private Property protection;
- We have incorporated sustainable production practices, with good performance records in the use of renewable energies.
We established new interactions and expanded the dissemination of our work:
- We held 8 webinars to disseminate knowledge within our agenda;
- We took part in 2 national trade fairs (360 Tech Industry and 3D Additive Expo) and made 3 international prospecting visits (Addit 3D Bilbao, IMTS Chicago and Formnext Frankfurt);
- We organized 1 international conference (INOV.AM International Conference – Shaping Tomorrow), presenting 58 papers with significant scientific results;
- We consolidated our presence in the global network, through collaboration with partners and various presentations of results at international conferences.
In 2025, we will begin the transition to commercialization of the Products, Processes and Services (PPS) developed, a fundamental step to boost the impact of our work on the national industry and strengthen our competitiveness at a global level.
The main actions planned for 2025 include taking part in major international trade fairs, such as Formnext in Frankfurt and Addit 3D in Bilbao, as well as national fairs such as EMAF and Moldplás. Open days with partner companies are also planned, aimed at strengthening ties and promoting new opportunities for collaboration. At the same time, the INOV.AM agenda will continue to invest in disseminating its results through webinars, scientific publications, national and international events and social networks, strengthening the presence and visibility of our innovation network.
The INOV.AM agenda wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May 2025 be a year of new achievements, consolidating Portugal’s position as a global benchmark for innovation in Additive Manufacturing.
