On November 7, 8 and 9, the INOV.AM Agenda attended the 3D ADDITIVE Fair, held at Exposalão, Batalha, exhibiting the latest innovations in additive manufacturing.
At the INOV.AM stand, visitors had the opportunity to explore the latest products and technologies developed by the agenda. Among the showcased innovations were hybrid molds and tools, as well as polymeric, metallic, and ceramic products, in addition to materials for food deposition and additive manufacturing, offering healthier and more sustainable alternatives through 3D printing. Additive manufacturing equipment, both small and large-scale, was also displayed, with live printing demonstrations using an extruder. The experience further included interactive digital tools, such as innovations in augmented reality, computed tomography technologies, cybersecurity solutions, data processing, slicing, and control, as well as the promotion of specialized training opportunities.
In addition to the agenda stand, INOV.AM was represented in several other booth exhibitors, with some partners sharing details of the work carried out in each Workpackage.
Additionally, as part of WP6 – Academy, Fábio Simões, from CDRSP – Research Unit, gave a presentation on “Training Academy – Specialized Training for Additive Manufacturing”, introducing the course and highlighting the importance of training in this area.
The presence of the INOV.AM agenda at the 3D ADDITIVE Fair highlighted the potential of additive manufacturing in different sectors and in industrial development in Portugal.
