Sustainability and Innovation were highlighted topics in the INOV.AM agenda by partners PIEP – Innovation in Polymer Engineering, GLN Plast, and Polytechnic of Leiria, members of the INOV.AM agenda consortium.
Members of the INOV.AM consortium are participating in national and international conferences, where they present the latest developments of the project, contributing to a greater promotion of the agenda.
◾ As part of Work Package 01 – Hybridization – the members of the PIEP and GLN Plast consortium presented at the LCIC Conference 2024 (4th Life Cycle Innovation Conference), which took place in Berlin, the theme “Navigating Environmental Impacts through Life Cycle Analysis of Fossil Fuel and Bio-Renewable Sourced Polymers,” showcasing new approaches and innovative methods that will help in more sustainable production processes.
◾ The Polytechnic of Leiria represented the agenda within the scope of Work Package 22 – Cyberphysical Systems and digitalization at the 30th ICE IEEE/ITMC International Conference on Engineering, Technology, and Innovation, which took place in Funchal – Madeira. The presentation “Point cloud alignment for deposited material assessment in tunnel environments” showed the methodology used to align point clouds obtained by laser sweeping, aiming to assess the material deposited in concrete additive projection operations.
