On 15 July, from 10:00 to 11:00 (WEST), the webinar entitled “The Importance of Rheology in Additive Manufacturing” will take place, promoted by PIEP – Innovation in Polymer Engineering, within the scope of the INOV.AM Agenda (WP23, Activity 2).
This online session aims to highlight the relevance of rheological parameters in the context of 3D printing of polymeric materials, with a special emphasis on Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology. Through rheological characterization, it is possible to predict the behaviour of plastics during the additive manufacturing process, thus contributing to the appropriate selection of polymers and the optimization of processing parameters.
The webinar will feature presentations by Luca Gasperini, representing PIEP, and Dr. Loic Hugues Gilles Hilliou, from the Portuguese Society of Rheology, who will share their technical and scientific knowledge on this subject.
Participation is free, but registration is required by July 11.
