PPS05 – Additive Manufacturing Equipment with Enhanced Performance for Small Products (<1m3).

PPS05 focuses on delivering manufacturing systems for additive production of small products (<1m³) with enhanced dimensional precision compared to systems from PPS6. These systems are suitable for various application areas and support different material types. The outputs originate from WPs 1, 11, 14, 15, 18, and 21, resulting in at least six new additive manufacturing systems designed for specialised applications:

• WP1 – Integrated production cell for hybrid manufacturing, enabling flexible production capabilities across multiple materials and processes.
• WP11 – Additive manufacturing equipment using metal powders with an ultrasonic induction/plasma system, optimised for precise metal processing.
• WP14 – Industrial additive manufacturing equipment specialised in scaffold production, meeting rigorous structural and medical requirements.
• WP15 – Integrated additive manufacturing system that includes a scanning system for enhanced precision in complex product geometries.
• WP18 – Additive manufacturing equipment tailored for the production of technical glass, artistic glass, and crystal, expanding the scope of materials for high-quality applications.
• WP21 – Additive manufacturing equipment based on extrusion techniques for thermosensitive materials, hydrogel, and drop-on-demand, supporting innovative applications in responsive materials.
