Agenda INOV.AM carries out 3rd prospecting visit and reinforces Portuguese innovation in Additive Manufacturing 

As part of its internationalization strategy and presence in international markets, agenda INOV.AM, represented by its partner AIDA CCI – Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the District of Aveiro, made its third prospecting visit to international fairs. This time to the German market, and specifically to the Formnext fair, the world’s largest exhibition of Additive Manufacturing and Industrial 3D Printing, which took place on November 19-22 in Frankfurt, Germany.

Recognized as a global reference fair, Formnext brings together the industry’s leading experts, companies and decision-makers and presents the latest innovations in the field, covering the entire industrial 3D printing process chain, with an emphasis on the new technologies that promise to revolutionize industrial production in various sectors, including automotive, aerospace and medical. 

With this prospecting visit, the INOV.AM agenda sought to explore new opportunities, follow emerging trends and strengthen its position as an engine of innovation for Portuguese industry. The visit focused on establishing strategic partnerships that can support the growth and internationalization of Additive Manufacturing technologies developed in Portugal. In addition, the visit aimed to strengthen the competitiveness of Portuguese companies and consolidate the national industry’s position as a major reference in innovation and advanced Additive Manufacturing technology. 

During the meetings, the ambitious objectives of the agenda and the enormous potential of the Portuguese market in the Additive Manufacturing sector were highlighted, reinforcing the importance of innovation and international collaboration.   

In addition to the prospecting visit, some of the agenda’s partners were present at Formnext with their own stands. Among them was partner EROFIO, which exhibited Mold 5G, an innovative tool for molding two-component parts with full use of topological optimization, developed under the INOV.AM agenda.
