As part of the INOV.AM agenda, and based on knowledge transfer between partners, a webinar was held on September 19th, promoted by the partner Glartek, under the theme ‘Digitization of Shop Floor Procedures for Training and Operator Support’.
Glartek has developed advanced 3D visualization and interaction features through augmented reality and artificial intelligence, along with competency management and operator training modules. During this webinar, which brought together over 40 consortium participants, two innovations were presented: the Virtual Training Labs, designed for operator/employee training without the need for real machines or physical presence on the shop floor; and the Competency Management Platform, which facilitates the identification of training needs and the continuous improvement of workers’ skills.
These products aim to increase efficiency, reduce waste and production costs, minimize rework, improve safety, optimize shop floor training, and enable faster decision-making without impacting daily production. This solution is for industrial companies in various sectors, and in this particular case, is applied to the Additive Manufacturing sector.
